Materials: 1-gallon freezer bag with zip closure Polar fleece, old towel or other fabric, 12" by 24" Hot glue Scissors Marker Iron-on seam tape (1") VelcroB. Iron and ironing board Ruler - Fold the fabric in half so it is 12 inches by 12 inches.
- Following directions on the seam tape, iron one strip, 12" in length, to the two side edges (figure A). Leave the top edge open.
- Clip the ironed corners at a 45-degree angle (figure B). Be careful not to cut into folded seam.
- Turn the cover right side out.
- Next, hot-glue two pieces of Velcro, one to each top edge (figure C).
- Blow up your plastic zip bag and seal it. Insert the bag in the fabric pocket and Velcro closed (figure D).
Tips: - Have an adult supervise when using hot glue, iron, and scissors.
- Even if you purchase self-adhesive Velcro, you should hot-glue it to the fabric for a stronger bond. The self-adhesive will pull loose.
All products can be purchased at craft and all-purpose stores nationwide. No special products are needed.
