Materials: White glue Food coloring Mixing bowl Liquid starch Plastic baggies Cutting board Metal spoon - Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup glue, one cup starch (figure A), and approximately 20 drops food coloring. Consistency should become stiff but runny when picked up. If mixture is too squishy, you can add more starch.
- When the mixture is fairly well mixed, you can knead it with your hands on a cutting board (figure B). Stretch, fold and knead just like you would bread dough.
- Store in an airtight plastic baggie.
Tips: - Don't get goo in fabric, as it may stain. In some cases if you let goo dry, fabric can be soaked in sudsy hot water and goo will wash out.
- Goo will keep from two to three weeks if sealed in an airtight baggie.
- Try mixing different food colors to get new shades of your choosing.
