Whether you're sleeping under the stars or bunking in, these sleeping bags are the perfect fit for beanbag toys. The DIY Kids explain how to make simple sleeping bags from scrap pieces of fabric. Materials: Scrap fabric that won't ravel Measuring tape Highlighter Ruler Scissors Fabric glue - With a parent's permission, measure a piece of scrap fabric 15" long and 6" wide, and mark a cutting line with a highlighter (figure A).
- Cut along the lines (figure B).
- Fold up the bottom edge 3" from the top of the fabric, and glue into place with fabric glue (figure C).
- Allow to dry thoroughly. You can use a book to hold the edges in place while the fabric dries (figure D).
