Sue Pelley, Decorating Den's senior vice-president of retail sales, tells Cindy Piccoli, host of HGTV's Decorating With Style, how to add color and texture to the bathroom by coordinating shower curtains, sink skirts, rugs, seat covers, bath linens, custom accessories and window treatments.

Three different prints in combinations of cheery yellow and bright blue are used throughout the bathroom. All three fabrics--a large print, a stripe and a small print--are used on the table covering (figure A).

The small bathroom window is topped by a striped valance that lengthens the line of the window (figure B), and the fabric is repeated on the edging of a guest towel (figure C).

The toilet seat, tissue boxes and wastebasket are all laminated in coordinating fabrics--a fun touch in this bathroom. A whimsical shower curtain, attached to the rod with fabric bows strung through buttonholes (figure D), is the room's centerpiece.

The small print pattern is turned into a braided rug, and the striped fabric skirts the pedestal sink, attached with Velcro®.
