Kirk Sandberg couldn't be more excited about his new home in Maryland Heights, Missouri - the one he just finished building. Because he had just completed work on his own home, Sandberg will be taking the lucrative $350,000 cash option in the 2007 Best Built Home Giveaway. The award will enable Sandberg to continue to improve the home he owns, as well as make a few investments for retirement and pursue his pastimes of fishing, music and camping. Alla Khlyapova, the winner of $21,000 from Century 21, found out about the Best Built Home Giveaway when she signed up for the DIY newsletter. It only took one entry to ring up the First Place prize for Khlyapova, who hopes to take a vacation with her family. "This is the first time I ever won anything," said Khlyapova. "We don’t buy lottery tickets or hope for miracles. But with a little praying, miracles do happen. Not in a million years I would of dreamed of winning something like this!"
