  • DIY HOME TEAM COVERS ALL THE BASES

  • Knoxville, Tenn. – March 2006 – Adding its new workshop, Home Made Easy, DIY Network has scored a whole new lineup of home improvement and how-to project experts to strengthen its already winning team. Viewers can now pick up tips on how to make home projects and home management easier with an encore performance of the new workshop Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m. the week of May 22nd.

With today's family schedules, managing a home is sometimes a bigger do-it-yourself project than building a home. Home Made Easy shows viewers how to manage home management. Coaching the team of experts on Home Made Easy host Stephanie Leydecker shows how to make everyday life easier – saving time, money and sanity. Whether it's sorting out clutter or fixing a gutter, degreasing a grill or paying the bills, cleaning and cooking to shopping and saving, entertaining friends or a repair list that never ends, Home Made Easy provides indispensable advice and clear instructions on the easy way to get household jobs done.

The Home Made Easy lineup includes:

    • "Repairs Made Easy" expert Allegra Bennett, editor and publisher of Renovating Woman magazine and author of three home improvement books.

    • "Gardening Made Easy" expert Fran Sorin, recognized as one of America's leading gardening experts as the "GardenSmart" columnist for USA Weekend magazine and author of Digging Deep: Unearthing Your Creative Roots Through Gardening.

These DIY "rookies" join a field of all-star players in home improvement and crafts that have shown our viewers how to make home projects easy.
