  • DIY NETWORK BUILDS ON HOME IMPROVEMENT PRIME-TIME PROGRAMMING

  • Knoxville, Tenn. – April 11, 2006 – Building toward ratings this October, DIY Network's blueprint includes a new schedule and a strategy to lead out every night of the week with home improvement projects, followed on Thursdays with programming dedicated to gardening and on Fridays with automotive.

"We're opening every night from 8 to 9 p.m. with DIY to the Rescue, one of our signature series," said Kathleen Finch, DIY’s general manager. "It not only has great do-it-yourself content, but great hosts in Karl Champley and Amy Devers. This is the kind of programming that will bring in viewers and keep them coming back."
