Bus Howard has more than 30 years experience as a general contractor/ design builder. When the actor is not on stage or behind the camera, he stays busy with his company, Howard Design Group, which concentrates on framing, decks, finish carpentry, and cabinetry work in the Washington, D.C. area. Howard is currently a reoccurring character, Ott, on HBOs series "The Wire". He has been involved in numerous theatre productions and was invited to perform his one-man, re-enactment of Frederick Douglas at the White House. Howard is an artist-in-residence for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the Marie Reed Community School in D.C. His film and television credits include, Murder at 1600, Serial Mom, Home for the Holidays, JFK, "Homicide: The series," The Corner, and A Man Called Hawk.
