Lauren Fix

Nationally recognized premier automotive expert Lauren J. Fix is an authority on consumer automotive and safety issues as well as car care and repair. She has been a guest numerous times on the Oprah Winfrey Show and has appeared multiple times on other media outlets. She is the author of Driving Ambitions: A Complete Guide to Amateur Auto Racing and The Performance Tire and Wheel Handbook and has written many articles for popular newspapers and magazines. She is working on another book to be released in 2005.

Lauren has been a strong part of the automotive industry for her entire life. Her degree is in management with a strong engineering foundation. She is owner of Automotive Aspects, a consulting firm that provides media consulting and broadcast messaging strategy services. In addition, Lauren sits on the Board of Directors of Classic Tube. She has earned many awards, among them a 40 Under 40 Business Award, the 2002 Women of the Year given by the Business Advisory Board of New York, the 2000 Car Care Council Communications Award, 2003 International Automotive Media Award - Public Service and a 2004 Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Award. Lauren has been listed in the Yearbook of Spokespersons, Experts and Authorities and is a long-standing member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

She is also the spokesperson for "Be Car Care Aware," a consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair. Lauren educates consumers around the country on TV and radio and in the press about safety, maintenance and pride of ownership.
