Ted Brown, the host of DIY's Model Railroads workshop, began his career as a hard-news reporter in Oklahoma City but soon found he was more drawn to human-interest features. His love of a good story and his sense of humor have made him one of the most popular reporters in the Southeast.Brown is also known as Professor PC for his syndicated computer/internet segment, which airs three times a week in more than 20 TV markets across the country and has won an Emmy®. He has appeared on HGTV's Company of Animals and TNN's Country America.
