Randall Andrews is a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, where he honed his culinary skills on the area's rich, decadent cuisine. Inspired by many great cooks in his family, he attended the Memphis Culinary Academy at the age of 18. Subsequently, he cooked his way through college at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where he studied theater and English before committing himself to a full-time career in the culinary arts. After college, Randall moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to attend Johnson and Wales University, from which he graduated with honors. While cooking for actors Hal Holbrook and Dixie Carter over the holidays in their Tennessee home, he made connections that soon led him to relocate to Los Angeles, where he has spent the past seven years working as both a private and a personal chef. In addition, he has worked as a food stylist for both film and television and has had photos featured in Bon Appétit.
Currently Randall and his wife, Monica, live in L.A., where he pursues songwriting and can be seen both hosting and making guest appearances on DIY Network and Food Network. His other TV credits include In Food Today, Ready, Set, Cook and a one-hour special, Personal Chefs.
