    Basic Campground Hookups

Outside the coach there are three connections to make:

    1. First is the 120 V, or in the Tiisler's case a 240v AC power.

    2. Next is your sewer connection for the black water and gray water, as well as the fresh water connector hose.

    3. There may be a cable television connection if available at your location.

    Remaining Step-by-Step Hookups

    1. Take the sewer hose and push it up through the bottom and into the connector in the RV. The other end goes directly into the RV parks sewer system. Black water is the waste from the RV's toilet. Gray water is from the sinks and showers.

    2. Hook the fresh water hose (typically white--figure A) into the campground's faucet hook-up and turn the water on.

    3. Flush out the hose and make sure the water is running clear. Then turn the water off before connecting it to the RV.

    4. Feed the hose under the RV into the appropriate connector and secure.

    5. Next take the shoreline cord and connect it to the RV's exterior outlet.

    6. Then, with the breakers off, plug the cord into the ground pedestal and then switch the breaker.

    7. Now you're ready to turn on the breakers inside the RV (figure B).

    Campground Tip:

    • If you're traveling with pets, many campgrounds offer special sites. Fort Wilderness has a pet loop that can be requested so family pets don't have to be kenneled the entire vacation. Make sure to call well in advance as these amenities are booked quickly!
