    • You need to make sure the wheel weights for the new tires are there and they didn't fall off or slide around a little bit (figure A). The weight is there in order to balance out the tire and wheel assembly in order for it to ride smoothly. Tires are built with minor irregularities, as are the wheels, but the assembly has to be in balance in order for the vehicle to ride well.

    • Another type of wheel weight is the tape on weight (figure B) and it gives you the same configuration and balance you need.

    • The first thing you need to do if you have a vibration in new tires is to go back to the dealer and have him check the balance of the two front tires again.
