Tips:- Carbon monoxide is invisible, odorless and tasteless. It can cause dizziness, confusion, headaches and even chest pain for some people. Very low concentrations can even be fatal and it can be found in everything from tobacco smoke to automobile exhaust. If you have any exhaust leaks, you need to get them fix immediately for that very reason.
- Pegboard is the undisputed champion of tool storage. Outline your tools in the place where they stay and you will be surprised how often they find their way back.
- Automotive finishes are thinner along edges and sharp curves. Use extreme care when polishing these areas to avoid wearing through the paint.
- All of a sudden your vehicle begins to skid. You take your foot off the accelerator and gently turn your steering wheel:
A. In the direction of the skid.
B. Against the direction of the skid. Answer: A. In the event of a skid, take your foot off the accelerator and gently turn your steering wheel in the direction of the skid. - The fuse block provides a centralized location for servicing fuses and relays in your vehicle.
- If you've got cabinets left over from a kitchen or bath remodel, you've got what it takes to improve storage and organization in your garage.
- Lane courtesy and speed limits are independent concepts. If you're in the left lane and someone wants to pass, signal your intentions, move to the right lane, and leave law enforcement to the authorities.
