In this project Tricked Out host Andrew Totolos installs a remote-controlled rear spoiler and front-end canards to improve the racing aerodynamics on a Honda S2000. Now that the motorized spoiler has been mounted to the trunk of the car, it's time to run the wiring up to the dash to hook into the control unit.Materials/tools used in this second phase of the project:
panel removal tool
grabber tool
electrical tape
shift knob
You can also purchase a gearshift knob to control the wing. To install it, simply unscrew and remove the existing shift knob. The new remote control knob (figure C) simply screws down on top of its spacer and is secured with a set screw.Later, after mounting the retractable canards in the front bumper, well wire the wing along with the canards at the same time we wire the fuse panel.
