    Finishing Touches

    • Replace seats in car using original hardware. The rear seat bottom pops into place. In the front, slide the seats down onto the studs and replace the four nuts that lock the seats down.

    • When reinstalling the door panels, take care to hook up any electric, lock, and/or light connections (figure A) -- anything that was unhooked or unplugged.

    • Set the panel in position (figure B), and replace any screws that were removed earlier.

    • To replace the shift boot cover, unscrew and remove the shift knob.

    • Peel back and remove old shift boot.

    • Put on the new cover by slipping the cover over the existing clips (figure C).

    • With the boot turned inside-out, secure new boot with wire tie (figure D).

    • Roll the cover down and into place (figure E).

    • Replace shift knob.

    • The emergency brake cover is replaced in much the same way. First, pull up and remove the old cover. It slips off much like pulling off a sock.

    • Turn the new cover inside out and place over the brake handle.

    • Secure the new cover with wire tie at the base of the brake.

    • Roll cover down and into place (figure F).
