    Most boaters have several accessories on their boat. This often requires multiple batteries. Having a battery switch to operate each battery provides an easy way to get the most life out of your batteries.

    A battery switch (figure A) will allow you to select one specific battery, or you can select two at the same time. If you have a battery sending power to a trolling motor, this will let you use your trolling motor without running down the battery designated for the engine.
