The new grill, after the addition of EL logo and driving lights.
In this project, Tricked Out host Andrew Totolos installs mesh grills, LED taillights and new fog lights on a Honda Civic. Now that the aluminum mesh has been added to the front bumper, it's time to jazz it up even more with new driving lights. Andrew mounts the new lights in the vertical vents in the bumper cover.

Materials/tools for this phase of the project:

    driving lights
    cordless drill with screwdriver attachment
    block of scrap wood
    standard shop tools
    "plug-and-play" wiring harness
    wire loom
    electrical tape
    spade connectors
    fuse taps
    eyelet connectors
    alcohol
    clean rags

Safety Alert: As a standard safety precaution, always disconnect the vehicle's negative battery cable before you begin work on any electrical or mechanical components.

DIY Difficulty Rating for This Project: We gave this a difficulty rating of 3 on a 5-point intermediate-level scale. There's some drilling and a small amount of electrical wiring involved, but if you're comfortable with that you should have no problem.
