Saddle Bags- Before the bags can be mounted, we will have to mark and drill the mounting holes. This should be a pretty easy process, but we'll have to be careful to not drill into the tire.
- Have a helper hold a bag up against the fender and then check that it is sitting evenly.
- Open the bag's lid and then using the mounting bracket inside the bag as a template, mark on the fender where to drill. Be sure to mark all the holes.
- Once the holes are marked, set the bag aside and then use the drill to open up the holes.
- It bears repeating: Be careful not to drill into a tire! (Trust us on this one. It happened to us!)
- Once the holes are drilled we can mount the bag.
- Hold the bag in place and line up the mounting bracket with the holes in the fender.
- Pass a bolt from the inside of the fender, through the bag.
- Set a lock-washer and but on each bolt and then tighten with a wrench.
