    Steve installs the a/c fan.

    • First, loosen and remove the stock water pump pulley and belt so that the new a/c compressor system can be installed.

    • Remove the lower crankshaft pulley so that it can be replaced with one for the new compressor drive belt.

    • The new crankshaft pulley goes into place and is secured with new bolts.

    • Tip: As always it's important to thread bolts in by hand first before using a wrench. Then the bolts are tightened down evenly, going through the bolt sequence several times.

    • Next remove the bracket and water pump bolts as needed to install the new pulley & compressor bracket.

    • The new pulley and compressor bracket goes into place.

    • The bolts are installed, along with spacers and washers and the bolts are tightened down.

    • The stock water pump pulley and the new high-volume fan goes into place and is secured with new bolts.

    • Before installing the compressor, reinstall the original fan belt, slipping it over the fan and onto the pulleys.

      Steve installs the a/c compressor.

    • Adjust the bracket and tighten down the bolt.

    • The new 5-piston compressor can now be installed onto the new pulley bracket.

    • The bolts and spacers are installed and they're tightened down.

    • The new compressor drive belt goes on, slipping it around the new crankshaft pulley, the compressor unit and the new compressor pulley. The belt is tightened down.

    • Fit the new a/c condenser and dryer onto the radiator frame, lining the studs up through the mounting holes.

    • Set the radiator shroud in around the fan, slide the radiator into place, line up the mounting holes, and press the condenser bolt studs through.

    • The shroud brackets are installed onto the studs each with a nut and lock washer, and the nuts are tightened down.

Finally, the shroud is installed onto the brackets and secured with the fasteners.
