And a new door handle adds the perfect touch.
    Refurbishing Exterior Parts

    1. Start the process by cleaning the emblem with an abrasive pad.

    2. The sanding dust can be cleaned using a solvent white towel.

    3. To use spray paint inside the letters, spray the paint into the cap of the bottle and use a small brush to paint inside the letters.

    4. Clean up the edges after painting by using a lacquer thinner.

    5. To remove the door handle pry out the screws.

    6. A rotary grinding tool takes care of the excess metal.

    7. Apply a bit of caulk to the rivet shaft before snapping the rivet into the new door handle.

    8. To remove the outside electrical outlet, scrape off the gasket around the outlet.

    9. Place new gasket and plate over the outlet. The plate is mounted on with screws.

In the next Airstream episode of Classic Rides, Kevin moves back inside the travel trailer to update the lighting of the living room and the window treatments in the coach. A re-laminated credenza, foldout dining room table and foldout sofa are added, and finally, a new rock guard is installed on the front of the trailer.
