The DIY to the Rescue crew is in Las Vegas at the home of Steve Tryon. Steve and his son, Alexander, have worked hard to repair damages to their house after a rare flash flood. To liven up the family room, painting expert Kat Tatz shows Steve how to create a three dimensional image on the wall using a painting technique known as trompe l'oeil. Steve's waterlogged floor gets resuscitated with new floating cork floor planks. New baseboards and a trio of pendant lights bring Tryon's tribulations to an end.
