The DIY to the Rescue crew arrives in Phoenix, Arizona at the home of Trish and Gabriel Velasquez. There, the crew finds a bedroom for the Velasquez twin boys that is in desperate need of repair. Trish and Gabriel had tried to do this project on their own, but found that they were in over their heads. Hosts Karl Champley and Amy Devers, along with carpenter Nathan Haun, give the family a hand in removing the old wallpaper and repainting the walls. The carpet is removed and replaced with a new floor covering and the closet gets a new built-in shelving system. Next, a whole new suite of furniture is added to finish off the project.
