When DIY To The Rescue arrives at the Hubers' they find a living area with several incomplete home improvement projects; some of which pose as a safety hazard for their small children. In just three days the team shows Stephanie and Craig how to patch a hole in the ceiling, mend their hardwood floors, and add a hearth to their fireplace. When the work comes to an end, the couple finally has an area to play with their children without worrying about exposed flames and floors filled with holes.
