How to Make Soap Using Herbs, Perfume and Oatmeal
Handmade soaps make great gifts for family and friends. They're so easy to make, the kids can help too.

Two Ways to Make Soap
For the kids, we made a clear glycerin soap with toy fish embedded inside. (They'll be sure to wash and scrub trying to get at the fish.) Then we made a scented oatmeal soap for the adults. Cardboard jewelry gift boxes were used as forms to make the soap. Then, after we were done, we used the boxes to wrap our soaps and give as gifts.
