Tools and Materials

To make a tutu you will need: approximately 1 1/2 to 2 yards of 44”-wide cotton fabric (depending on the fullness of your tutu); 1/2”-wide elastic (length depends on the child's size — see the next slide for hints); basic sewing essentials such as scissors, thread, needle; a sewing machine is optional.
