How To Make a Chandelier From Old Wine Bottles

Use upcycled wine bottles to create inexpensive lighting for a wine cellar, kitchen, bar or dining room.

Put discarded wine bottles and basic lumber to good use as a custom chandelier packed with Tuscan style. To make this chandelier you will need: wine bottles in assorted colors and heights; a utility knife; a damp cloth; a glass-cutting tool; lamp sockets and wire; a spool of chain; bolt cutters; 2” x 8’ plank of pine; self-sealing wood stain; a drill with 1” paddle bit; a screwdriver; wire cutters; a reciprocating saw or circular saw; a miter saw; a shallow plastic square junction box; wing nuts, hook eyes and 1” x 2” pine fascia trim; wood screws; a caulk gun; and clear heavy-strength silicone.
