Learn how to add a little red, white and blue to your home with this easy-to-make driftwood wreath.
By Joanne Palmisano, Salvage SecretsMore in Decorating
Collect long and short pieces of driftwood, varied sizes ranging from 3 to 7 inches. Rinse the driftwood in a solution of 2/3 water and 1/3 bleach then lay them out on a tarp and let dry.
Wrap the pieces at varied locations with painter's tape (different width tapes if you want).
Paint sections of each piece of wood with red, white and blue paint. Leave some of the spaces natural. Let dry.
Before you attach the driftwood to the wreath form, add a picture hanger to back of wood craft wreath.
