To make this patriotic decoration, small pieces of driftwood were gathered on the shoreline, a little paint was added then the wood was glued onto the wreath form. This easy, budget-friendly project only costs a few dollars to make — the only expense was the wreath form and a hook to hang it up.

Tools and Materials

hammer
hot glue gun and glue sticks
screwdriver
scissors
a variety of driftwood pieces (3 to 7 inches long)
wooden craft wreath
bleach (small amount)
painter's tape (thin)
paintbrush
craft paint (red, white and blue)
picture hanger kit (for over 10 pounds)
wire nails (17 gauge x 1")
