We decorated one dining room three different ways for three different parties. We created a very glamorous look for a sophisticated party, a rustic style for a casual party, and a bright and cheerful motif for a child-friendly party.

One way to easily update the table to prepare for entertaining is to decorate the chair backs. For our holiday glam party, luxurious gold velvet chair pads with thick fabric bows dress up the simple white chairs.
