Sometimes it's not the space that's an issue but choosing how to utilize the space. Guest bedroom, home office or exercise room? Luckily one room can perform many functions. Designer Erica Islas knew this space would be used as a home office much more often than as a guest bedroom, so she successfully combined both spaces without making the room feel tight. The Murphy bed can be pulled down when visitors stay over, making them feel comfortable and right at home. The rest of the time, though, the space feels entirely like a spacious home office.
