Engineer Deanne Bell began experimenting with building in her youth, asking her parents for a band saw at the age of 14. On top of her engineering studies in college, she traveled abroad and studied architecture and design in Denmark. Her motto for everything in life is if you can think it, you can make it. Deanne’s engineering background brings a unique, technical perspective to every home improvement project. A thorough researcher and bargain shopper, Deanne claims she’s saved thousands of dollars on home improvement projects. On DIY Network’s new series Money Hunters, Deanne’s money-saving habits are contagious as she shows homeowners which materials and techniques can stretch their dollars.
