Dean Hill holds over 15 years of experience in the landscape construction and home improvement profession and more than 10 years of high quality residential landscape design experience. He has an undergraduate degree in Telecommunications and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree, both from Ball State University. Dean is president and principal designer at Terratecture, a landscape architecture design studio specializing in the use of native plant material and the incorporation of contemporary sculpture in residential and commercial landscapes. Dean is a full member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and has served on various ASLA national committees. He is a past president of the Indiana Chapter (INASLA) and has served on the Executive Committee and the Annual Design Award Committee for over 5 years. In addition, he holds certification as a Master Gardener and is a certified Plantsman and Master Plantsman from the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association. Dean's extensive experience, knowledge, and growing personality are fertilizer for DIY Network's Grounds for Improvement.
