        1938 Packard: Introduction and History

        Episode DCR-401

Host Mark Lambert introduces us to our 1938 Packard Club Coupe project car and performs an evaluation of the exterior, engine and interior. He presents restoration tips, advice and resources such as manuals and suppliers. Mark also takes the viewer through the Packard Motor Car Company history and explains the reason for the production of our model – a "junior" Packard. In preparation for the restoration, Mark and restoration mechanic Keller Wallace remove the front clip of the car, the fenders, hood and front end, to reveal our Packard’s straight eight engine.
