About the Guest Bedroom:
A modern take on Maine's rugged lodge style, the guest bedroom boasts rustic-chic furnishings and a unique collection of fabrics and textures. The design motif, selected by online voters during Blog Cabin's People's Choice voting period, beat out both a super-chic "Classic in Khaki" design and "Fresh Floral," a motif inspired by Maine wildflowers. "I want guests to want to hang out here, spend time, linger and not want to leave," says Good Housekeeping market editor Laura Eckstein, who, along with her design team, furnished the second-floor space.
