About the Dining Room:
A casual gathering space, where cooking and conversation comingle, became a focus when planning Blog Cabin's first floor spaces. Replacing a formal dining suite, the home's harvest table, surrounded by Tolix-style café chairs, reads at once rustic and refined. "The dining room was to function as a formal and informal space and I had a ton of room to work with," says Kitchen Crashers host Alison Victoria. "When I was designing the table I wanted to make sure the size would be versatile. I wanted the option to place the table horizontally or vertically and we did just that. "
