With the foundation set, the logs in place, and roof underway, the Blog Cabin crew turn their attention to the expansive wrap around porch. Stopping by to help Ahmed, Chris and Simon, and to build unique porch furniture, are John and Jimmy Diresta from DIY's Hammered. Using tons of vintage lake gear they create a water ski adirondack chair, a swinging canoe seat, and a rustic cedar porch swing. And wait until you see the 1200 square feet of composite decking made from recycled plastic bags, it may look brown, but it's very green! There's plenty of reusing and recycling going on here!
