Designed to entice nature-lovers, a private sanctuary is built on top of the boat dock to provide a relaxing getaway.

Recycled Drinking Glasses on Outdoor Table

Recycled drinking glasses contribute the home's vintage vibe and offer a cool drink from the heat of a hot summer's day.

An outdoor rug, featuring bright hues of orange, blues, and greens, contrast against dark wood furnishings and play off the surrounding nature-inspired shades.

Emulating the bungalow's original staircase, handrails are designed with a sunburst pattern.

For a lighter, long-lasting option, a set of Adirondack lounge chairs are fashioned from cedar wood.

"This is meant to be a nice place to come lay and get some sun," says project manager Dylan Eastman. "If you don't feel like driving to the beach, you can still come out here and get a tan."

This upper deck provides views along the Lake Hamilton waterfront. The lucky winner of Blog Cabin 2014 will enjoy a front row seat to a picturesque sunset against the water.
