Blog Cabin 2012 show host Chris Grundy and licensed contractor and Bath Crashers host Matt Muenster let the sparks fly as they operate a cutoff saw during a rainy day of welding. They are joined by “recycle sculptor” Nathan Nicholls (left).

Facebook time! Chris takes a quick snap of his new partner in crime.

Precision pays off for Matt, who uses a cutoff saw to trim scrap metal. Metal will be repurposed as part of a master bathroom towel hanger.

"We know what this was really used for, don't we." Chris and licensed contractor and House Crashers host Josh Temple ponder the original purpose of a mystery shovel discovered in the barn.

When you place two home improvement experts in one bathroom, healthy debate is bound to ensue. Chris and Matt discuss the finer points of glass tile installation.

No crying over spilled paint! Messes are all in a day’s work for Chris, who applies a coat of “white raisin” paint to master bedroom walls.

Braving the muddy mess caused by late spring rains, Chris greets Josh. Crews donned protective rain gear to continue filming.

As the deluge continues, Chris and Matt help the film crew move a portable canopy into the yard.

Blog Cabin 2012 project manager Dylan Eastman makes a run for the barn as a sudden downpour abruptly halts production.

Dudes bond over base cabinetry. Chris and contractor Doug Tolson fist bump while discussing the plans for the kitchen with interior designer and Kitchen Crashers host Alison Victoria.

Alison gets in on the fist bump action.

Threatening skies are no match for the Kitchen Crashers crew.

Cameras capture the installation of the first kitchen cabinet.

A precision drill team, Chris and Matt build the master suite bed frame.

Matt attaches center supports to the master suite bed frame.

Chris and Matt share patio paving pointers with the Blog Cabin 2012 TV audience.

Josh and Chris take a break to click through snapshots.

Injuries come with the territory. Chris attempts to pull a splinter from Josh’s finger.

Splinter yanked, it’s time to dry the tears and get back to work.

Alison and interior decorator Victoria Lesser take time out for a group shot with Chris, who gets a big wet smooch from Victoria’s Great Dane.

Victoria collects daffodils from the fields surrounding Blog Cabin 2012 for a master suite bouquet.

Victoria waits patiently with her Great Danes, Roxie and Baker, while filming progresses inside the home.

Talk about a close call! Matt — and his gorgeous head of hair — braves low tree branches to mow acres of lawn in the backyard.

As the lawn work progresses, Chris steps in to give Matt a little shove.

In between filming, Chris and Josh play ball.

Before filming begins, Chris finds a quiet spot in the backyard to practice fly casting.

Bringing out the big guns! Josh uses Chris’ bicep as a “guide” to determine dimensions of a coffee table.

During the filming of the Desperate Landscapes episode, Chris marvels at a tiny video camera attached to a production crane.

Nearing the home stretch of interior design, Chris lends a helping hand as Victoria stages the kitchen.
