New Morning Gallery in historic Biltmore Village is one of the best-known galleries and showcases a distinctive array of ceramics, woodcrafts, garden art and unique contemporary furniture. The gallery also sponsors the annual Village Art and Craft Fair.

The quaint town of Black Mountain, N.C., is located in the Swannanoa Valley about 15 miles east of Asheville. It's known for its historic downtown, mountain crafts, antique galleries, and a variety of music and art festivals.
