After Oklahoman Bill Goldberg lettered in seven high school sports and started as an All-SEC Defensive Lineman for the University of Georgia, it came as no surprise he later achieved even greater success as an NFL football player and professional wrestler. In 1997, he defeated Hulk Hogan for the World Championship Wrestling heavyweight title which earned him recognition as one of the 100 most powerful people in the sports industry by The Sporting News. Today, Goldberg’s passions extend into charitable causes benefitting animals, children and education. In addition, he’s an avid car buff with an extensive collection of restored cars, and a love for auto racing. On DIY Network’s new season of Garage Mahal, Goldberg rips out homeowners’ disastrous garages and alters them into mind-blowing living spaces.
