John and Mary are a busy, working couple with two boys. They have a charming home with lots of period touches, but their bathroom is a major disaster zone. In this four-episode makeover host Amy Matthews helps them transform their tacky, gross, falling apart '70s bathroom into a beautiful art deco bathroom that reflects the age of their vintage urban home. In this first episode we're going to start from scratch by ripping out most of the existing bath. The first project is to build a knee wall at the end of the tub, and then we set a channel that will hold the custom-made art glass panel that will be the new wall partition.
