Licensed contractor Amy Matthews is the real deal. She’s lethal with a sledge hammer and a master of remodeling and renovation. She’s finding that out now more than ever before, serving as general contractor on a major basement renovation in her 1924 craftsman bungalow. Amy has been featured on the pages of The Family Handyman magazine and worked with Country Living magazine on its “House of The Year” project. In 2008, she journeyed to New Orleans in support of Habitat for Humanity International’s Jimmy Carter Work Project. In 2009, she’ll log many more miles and volunteer hours as she heads to Asia for the annual trip.
