Can a host or someone at DIY provide me with advice for my specific home project?
Although DIY doesn't have experts on readily available on staff to answer specific do-it-yourself questions on a daily basis, we recommend using our site search or the Easy Project Finder tool at the top of each page to locate information specific to your project.

Can I get my house remodeled or decorated by DIY?
Our production associates are always looking for viewers such as yourself, to become a part of the DIY programming. To find out which shows are currently accepting submissions in their areas, please visit our Be On DIY page for instructions on submitting your information.

How do I search for information seen on a show?
There are many different ways to search for information seen on a program, but here are two. One is to utilize the search box in the header on every page of the site. Use generalized keywords associated with a show or project for a basic search results page. Then, using the NARROW YOUR RESULTS modules located along the left side of the search results page, begin narrowing your search results by >>>>>>>>. Another favorite search technique is to use the FIND A PROJECT SEEN ON TV search tool. This feature tool is located along the lower right of the home page. Here you can search by Show Name, Expert Name, Keywords, or you can use the calendar provided and search by air date.

How can I find out whether a show will air again?
When a program airs, all scheduled air dates are listed on the episode page. Using the Episode Finder located on the left side of our Program Guide page, you can locate and view the episode pages and their listed re-air dates. Also, you can access episodes scheduled for the next 30 days through the Program Guide.

How can I purchase videos of the programs seen on DIY?
DIY does not offer videos of its regular programming.

Why does DIY repeat shows?
Primetime shows airing from 7p to 11p ET re-air from 11p to 3a to accommodate our Central, Mountain and Pacific Time viewers. Other repeats are necessary while new series and specials are in production. As our viewing audience grows, many viewers are seeing these shows for the first time. Also, many viewers appreciate the repeats because it allows them an opportunity to see or tape programs that may have been missed.

Does DIY offer a magazine or program guide for sale?
DIY does not offer a printed program guide. Our listings can be accessed from our online Program Guide.

How can I get DIY in my area?
Your local cable or satellite provider determines which networks are aired. To assist you in having DIY added to your programming lineup, we have created an easy way for you to submit your request to your cable or satellite company. Simply click here. Just fill in your information and we'll send your request to your local cable or satellite provider to have DIY added to your programming lineup. It's that easy! The more people that request the network, the better your chances are to have it included in your programming lineup. So tell your friends and family! To fully appreciate and enjoy all of features available on the Food Network web site, we have optimized our site for modern, web standards based browsers such as Firefox, Safari 3 or higher, Internet Explorer 7, and Internet Explorer 8.
